Protesters have gathered in solidarity with Palestine in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide as Israel prepared to launch a ground invasion of Gaza after last weekend’s Hamas attacks.

The Sydney rally’s co-organiser Fahad Ali spoke about children being killed in Gaza when he addressed thousands of people in Hyde Park on Sunday.
